History: Kiri was the second born of the Illom House. She was raised to know all the traditions of both the ancient Dathomirians and the Hapes Consortium. When she was two years old, it was discovered that she was Force sensitive and was sent to the Hapan Academy for the Force Gifted for Jedi training. She spent 9 months out of every year for the next 16 years until she reached Jedi Knight status. She, unlike her brother, is very adept with the "living force." She is also strong in telekinesis, but seems to lack in telepathy, which she makes up for in her empathic skills. She was very fond of her older sister and younger brother, although she would gang up on Odysseus with Glenys on many occasions. Despite their prankster behavior while young, they grew very close to one another. When Ody was promised to Luciana as a part of a House merger, both Kiri and Glenys were furious with their parents. Kiri and her sister attempted to cause all sorts of trouble during the ceremony, but their parents were already two steps ahead and took precautions against their spoiling the wedding.

After a couple of years, Ody had a daughter, Catalina. It was Kiri who started to call her Cat much to Luciana's dismay. She doted on the little girl who looked a lot like her - at least, so she thought. Although Catalina was never allowed to go to Dathomir for some strange reason, she was allowed to visit Illom occasionally, and Kiri took those times to pilgrimage back from Dathomir to Illom to visit with her niece. During those visits, Kiri showed Cat many holos of Dathomir and explained the ancient stories of rancors and witches. They had lots of fun while Cat was growing up, pretending the Illom statue of the House founder was a rancor and climbing up it with whuffa ropes Kiri would bring along, to "ride" the rancor.

When Cat took off, automatically she and Glenys blamed Luciana for being too strict with her daughter. They never thought much of the Meros woman and refused to even speak with the woman after Cat's departure. Only Odysseus kept them informed about Cat's adventures, which only made Kiri that much more proud of her niece.
