History: Teneniel comes from Dathomir, and is part of a clan of Force-using witches. She is a beauty with red-gold hair and brown eyes with hints of orange. Her clan, called the Singing Mountain Clan, dates back many years, and was led by Teneniel’s mother, Allaya Djo. When Allaya passed away in the desert, Teneniel’s grandmother Augwynne gained control. As Augwynne was growing old, the clan was already looking for a new queen, and unbeknownst to her, Teneniel was their choice.

Within the clan, the men were used as servants or mates, while the women conducted all the business. They travelled on huge rancor beasts, just like the one Jabba had as a pet. These beasts were wild, butt were tamed by the kindness and magic songs of the women. Although they did not know it at the time, the magic they used was actually part of the Force. To use this magic, the witches believed they had to chant and sing, apart from Gethzerion. She was the only one who realised that they did not have to sing to use the Force, and she used this knowledge for her own evil means.

Gethzerion and her evil Nightsisters had tempted many of Teneniel’s aunts to the Dark Side. They then tried to turn the Singing Mountain Clan over to evil, but the clan resisted. In response, the evil Nightsisters launched attacks on the peaceful clan.

Teneniel first met Luke and Prince Isolder while she was patrolling the deserts. They were looking at the Chu’unthor spaceship, and Teneniel could sense that Luke was strong in the Force, or magic as she thought of it. In accordance with her upbringing, Teneniel smacked Luke over the head with a club, thinking that she would probably marry him; Isolder, she thought, was handsome, but just an ornament. She tied both the Jedi and the Hapes prince up, and began walking them back to her village. But Luke freed them with his lightsaber, and confronted Teneniel with their identities. They talked, and eventually Luke and Isolder agreed to go back to the village. They hoped Teneniel would be able to help them find Leia and Han, whom they were searching for.

They did find Han and Leia, and soon all the Alliance heroes were together again. But Luke could sense that the Dark Side was strong on Dathomir, and so the group of Alliance members helped the Singing Mountain Clan on a raid on an Imperial prison fortress. But there they were attacked by the evil Nightsisters, and then a rogue Imperial warlord, Zsinj, began firing on Dathomir from his Star Destroyer the Iron Fist.

In the end the Mountain Clan was victorious, and Gethzerion was killed by Han. Teneniel then realised that she was in love with Isolder. He proposed to her, but she resisted at first, thinking that his people would not accept her as she had no royal blood in her. Isolder assured her they would, and they travelled back to Hapes to be married.

As time went on, they had a child, Tenel Ka. Tenel was strong in the Force, and was accepted into Luke’s Jedi Academy. It may not be long before a Jedi is ruling the Hapes Cluster.
