Kougar Castle Tower 3 |
The third Kougarian Castle Tower used to serve as the main set of offices for the military, but over time as the military had fewer recruits and was needed less, several artifacts from the earlier period of the Kougarian pride were put in rooms designated as the castle's main museum. The number of artifacts has increased over time and now the museum has its own offices in this tower on the first level, a vault for the more precious antiques and artifacts that would deteriorate too quickly, and a gift shop for visitors to buy replicas of the artifacts to take home with them. The museum was so popular that a room that was formerly barracks was renovated into public restrooms. Because of the pricelessness of the artifacts, the museum also established a set of offices for security personnel and a temporary brig for offenders caught on site. The stairs leading to the second level are shielded so visitors to the museum do not have access to the true military offices upstairs. Only personnel with the proper access codes and retinal scans can enter this highly prohibited area. The weapons locker for the security personnel of the museum have similar security devices to make sure any visitors that can make it past the security offices to those lockers can't get into them. There is often a security officer at the door of the offices and at the vault during the museum's daytime hours. There are no night time hours for the museum and that level is closed off and locked to all but military personnel. |
The second level of the third tower is the true military offices of the Kougarian Pride's military operations. The head of each section of personnel not only resides here in a private room of the barracks, but has communications links to every squadron, fleet, platoon, and unit of the military. He/She can stay on this location and receive updates to all military operations, plot it on a tactical screen, and gives orders successful to keeping the Pride safe from the main offices and war room.
The barracks in this tower can hold up to 40 men and has 10 private chambers for higher military officials. The conference rooms for the military heads is sectional and can wrap around the corner as a single room, or have a partition pulled across to make it into two different rooms so different conferences can be take place at the same time. This tower also has a lounge in this level, not only for military personnel, but to serve as a less formal conference room for the head officers in a pinch. |
